San Francisco gin makers, No. 209 Distillery, have paid homage to the cities wine making roots.
The gin makers have taken barrels from the nearby town of St Helena, and the original birthplace of the gin company, and have rested their gins in the barrels that once house chardonnay.
These beautiful French oak barrels create the straw-like colour of the gin as well as the subtle tasty oak and fruity flavours that can be found in this truly unique addition to the gin market.
Delicious to sip neat, the delicate addition of the wine flavours also make for a truly unique Martini and Negroni, and offers a modern twist on the classic gin and tonic.
